Was about to drive back home to Birmingham Sunday eve after visiting friends in the area when I started to have problems with the brakes on my van. Not wanting to risk driving back decided best to stay another night and get it fixed locally. Anyway, Monday morn and not knowing any local garages personally, I did a quick search and decided to try Holcar. Quick phone call and after explaining my predicament, they said they'd take a look. Dropped it off and a short while later I got a phone call to tell me what the problem was, what parts were required, how much it was going to cost and if I wanted to proceed? A few hours later, another call to say it was all sorted. All I can say is a big 'thank you' to the guys at Holcar. Not only did they get me back on the road at short notice, they were very communicative, professional and supplied the parts and labour at an exceptionally fair price. As a final show of courtesy, they showed me the old parts they'd replaced. If I didn't live so far away I'd certainly be using them as my local garage so if you're unsure of who to use if you car needs repairing, then I know you'll be pleased with the service you get at Holcar. This garage has to be one of the best I have ever come across, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff pride themselves on their work which these days is hard to find a garage that has this type of service. I would recommend anyone that needs a garage in this area to use them.
